View the Lights in Starved Rock Country

The holidays just aren't the same without lights! While you're out with family and friends, make sure to check some of the beautiful lighting displays in Starved Rock Country. Grab your camera and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Ottawa Deck the Parks and Christmas by Candlelight

• Take a trip over to Ottawa to view the decorations during their Deck the Parks holiday displays. Displays will be in multiple locations for all to enjoy. The City of Ottawa will also host Christmas by Candlelight on Friday, December 2nd and 9th from 6pm - 8pm. These fun-filled days will be packed with displays, history sessions from costumed docents, a visit from Father Christmas, treats, and gift shops. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for Students in grades K-12. 

Light-up Streator/Visit with Santa

• When: Saturdays at 7:00pm
• If you have missed out on the last display, don't worry. Streator will be hosting lighting displays every Saturday. After viewing this magnificent site, get your Christmas list out and take a trip over to Santa's house. 

La Salle Celebration of Lights

• When: Monday - Thursday and Sunday - 5:00pm to 9:00pm
• Fridays and Saturdays - 5:00pm to 10:00pm
• Admire the gorgeous view of La Salle with their annual Celebration of Lights ceremony. Viewing the lights is always free, but donations are accepted to help continue this stunning atmosphere. Plus, don't forget to sign up for Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 3rd between 8am and 9:30am. Admission price is $10 per person and reservations are required. Utica

• We have received word from the North Pole that Santa will be visiting Saturday night December 17th!
• Utica's annual Santa Parade will start at 6PM in Burgess Subdivision and then proceed through the village.
• Don't forget to finish up your shopping while you're in town!
