Rock Star is returning to Starved Rock Lodge!

The mid-winter competition that had been a tradition prior to the pandemic is back on the calendar for 2023. Rock Star will return to the Main Dining Room of Starved Rock Lodge with opening night on Wednesday, February 22. Vocalists will compete for the title in the 4-week long contest with finals on Wednesday, March 15.

Starved Rock Lodge is teaming up with Starved Rock Media to bring back this singing contest which will include a weekly Fan Favorite. Euclid Beverage will sponsor a weekly door prize, a few more surprises.

A panel of judges along with audience votes will determine who advances through each week of the contest. The winner will take home a trophy and a $500 grand prize. The 2nd place award is $250 and $100 for 3rd place. The weekly Fan Favorite will take home $100.

Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for dinner. Contestant registration is set for 6:30 p.m. with Rock Star starting at 7:00 p.m. Details about how to register as a contestant will be announced in January of 2023.
