A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

Starved Rock Annual Art Show

WEBSITE DIRECTIONS
Calling all artists, entires can now be submitted from January 9th through 31st, to the Annual Starved Rock Art Show. There will be two separate sections to this year: The Junior Art Show for ages 10 - 17 and Adult Art Show for those 18 years or older. Show will be judged February 11th and awards announced February 12th.

The show will begin February 4th and will remain open until March 31st. This gallery can be seen daily from 9am - 4pm while the Visitor Center is open.
