Joliet Summer Challenge - Terms & Conditions

No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not improve your chances of winning.

Eligibility: This promotion is open only to residents of Illinois, who are 13 years old or older as of May 25, 2024. Employees of Heritage Corridor Destinations and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

Promotion Period: The promotion begins at 12:00 AM on May 24, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM on September 2, 2024. Entries submitted before or after the promotion period will not be eligible.

How to Enter: To enter, participants must check in at the designated locations using the check-in button, which will work in the vicinity of the specific location. No purchase is necessary to check in. Check-ins will be limited to one per email address at each location or event. Check-ins must be at least five minutes apart. If an event happens at the same place as another location on the Challenge, participants may check in twice but must wait five minutes before the second check-in. If a check-in does not work, participants should take a selfie from the location and email it to [email protected]. After verification, the check-in will be manually entered into the Challenge.

Use of Email Addresses: Email addresses will be used solely for the purpose of running the promotion, including keeping track of check-ins and notifications if a prize is won. Participants can opt-in to receive further emails from Heritage Corridor Destinations.

Prizes: Details of the prizes and the number of winners will be specified on the promotion webpage. Winners will be selected at random and notified via email.

Data Privacy: Data identifying specific people will be used exclusively for the administration of this promotion and will not be shared with third parties without consent. Disqualification: Heritage Corridor Destinations reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions, provides false information, or engages in fraudulent activities.

Limitation of Liability: Heritage Corridor Destinations is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or any other issues that may arise during the promotion.

Modification and Termination: Heritage Corridor Destinations reserves the right to modify or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice due to reasons beyond its control.

Indemnification: By participating in this promotion, participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Heritage Corridor Destinations, the City of Joliet, participating locations, and their respective agents and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to participation in the promotion.

Governing Law: The Raffle and these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that any provision of the Rules, or their application to a particular persons or circumstances, is invalid or unenforceable to any extent, then the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, and the application of all of the Terms and Conditions to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected by that determination, and shall remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Heritage Corridor Destinations and The City of Joliet to enforce at any time any provision of the Official Rules shall not be considered a waiver of such provision or any other provision and shall not deprive Heritage Corridor Destinations and the City of Joliet of the right thereafter to enforce such provision or any other provision.
