A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

New Exhibit Unveiling at the Joliet Area Historical Museum

The Joliet Area Historical Museum (JAHM) invites all of their museum members for a new exhibit unveiling next Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 6:30pm – 9:30PM. They are encouraging you to bring a friend to sign up and be a part of the JAHM family!

The event will include live music by the Chicago Blues Angels band, hot food from a local restaurant, 50/50 raffle with special Cinco De Mayo tix and complimentary beverage bar. Any member that brings a friend will also receive a special bonus gift.
