Entertaining events to bring in the New Years

The holidays are near, which means the new year is almost upon us! This calls for a time of celebration with family and friends. While your're thinking of places to celebrate New Year's Eve, here are a couple events to help you plan! 

New Year's Eve Package - Starved Rock Lodge:

• Where: One lodge ln., Oglesby, IL 61348
• When: Saturday, December 31, 6pm
• Stay the night at Starved Rock on New Year's Eve. In additon to a one-night stay, guest will be able to attend a New Year's Eve party in Great Hll and Starved Rock Room. Cocktail hour begins with an open bar and hor d'oeurves, followed by a dinner buffet, champaigne toast at midnight, then 1:00am pastries and brunch on New Year's Day. There will be an endless amount of entertainment and a chance to win a travel voucher. Full payment is due at time of booking. The price for this package is $750.00 per couple. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

New Year's Eve Party - Wine & Cheese Company, LLC:

• Where: 24104 W Lockport St, Plainfield, IL 60544
• When: Saturday, December 31, 6pm - 9pm 
• Join Wine & Cheese Company LLC as they team up with Argonaut Co. to bring you a five-course dinner and wine pairing. There will be a charcuterie board, soup, salad, seafood tower, and fresh desserts. Wine will be paired with each course. Tickets are $150/person.

New Year's Eve Family Party at Haunted Trails Joliet:

• Where: 1423 N. Broadway St, Joliet, IL 60435
• When: Saturday, December 31, 6pm - 10pm
• Come for a night of unlimited indoor rides and laser tag. This event will also include party favors, a balloon drop, new year's toast, and a countdown celebration. Advanced registraions are required, and early booking is reccommended. All guests ages 3 and up must be on package. Admission price is $41.95/guest. Kids 2 and under eat free, but do not recieve game play or attractions.
