Throw down this Father's Day at Q on Canal

Throw down with some BBQ this Father's Day at Q on Canal in Lemont along Canal Street. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend Father's Day with food and games for Dads and kids alike. Enjoy menu items from Lemont's best restaurants and bars, along with a live barbecue competition from grill masters from across the Midwest. Aside from good barbecue and games, there will be a mechanical bull, live music, a putting contest, a bags tournament, and an array of beer and whiskey. Tickets are $10 plus fees and are on sale now. 

If you want to compete in the competition, you must - 

• Have an appropriate name and pay a $100 entry fee
• Cooking must take place at Matt's Barbecue, and teams must have their smokers, tools, briskets
• One pound must be turned in with slices from both the flat and point at 5 PM
