Open to all levels of interest!

Explore creative dramatics through singing, dancing, script and theatre terminology learning, costuming, makeup and prop designing. All aspects come together over the four weeks to present a musical for public performance.

MUSICAL 2023 ANNE OF GREEN GABLES Set in the late 19th century, the story follows the adventures of the 11 year old orphan girl Anne Shirley sent by mistake to two middle-aged siblings, who had originally intended to adopt a boy to help them on their farm in Canada.

The musical adaption has the feel of “The Music Man” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” Public performance July 15 & 16 (Saturday & Sunday @ 2:00 pm)

JUNIORS Ages 5-11* 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm $225 *those age 11 may choose the TEEN camp, instead

ABOUT TECH CAMP Teens may choose the TECH CAMP instead of the DRAMA CAMP.

TECH CAMP is the same price and times. The difference is the TECH CAMP will work behind the scenes, learning set, lighting and sound design. TECH CAMP will NOT be on stage learning the script and music for the performance. They will be behind the scenes, keeping the show moving – just as important as the actors!

MEETS 4 WEEKS Starts the Monday after Father’s Day. Adults – please stay for the first 15/20 minutes for basic camp info. WEEK 1: Monday through Thursday (Tuesday – audition for parts) WEEK 2: Monday through Friday WEEK 3: Wednesday through Friday (off July 3 & July 4) WEEK 4: Monday through Sunday (shows the last two days)

PRE-REGISTRATION ENCOURAGED Not required, but it helps save your spot. We are limited to about 70 overall.

WEAR Comfortable clothing allowing for movement and sturdy shoes. NO FLIP-FLOPS. Teen Tech Campers – be prepared to bring/ wear paint clothes and shoes on future days.

BRING Bring binder, pencil and a water bottle. Teens – bring a sack lunch. Fridge and microwave available.

AUDITION TUESDAY Audition for parts will be on Tuesday (2nd day of class.)
