A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

Join us for “Wine on the Hill” at our August Hill & ISC winery and vineyard. Enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery of the Illinois Valley, and your favorite August Hill & ISC wines, while hanging out on our spacious hillside. Wine flights, wine by the bottle, August Hill Chill by the glass, and a snack picnic box will all be available.

HOURS/LOCATION: You can enjoy wine on the hillside on Saturday from 12-6 pm. This event is at our Peru, IL vineyard & winery location (not at our Tasting Room in Utica). Look for August Hill Wine on the Hill location in your map app.

MUSIC: Music by Jack Whittle Blues, 1-4 pm
