A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

Join us for Wine on the Hill at our August Hill & ISC winery and vineyard. Enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery of the Illinois Valley, and your favorite August Hill & ISC wines, while hanging out on our spacious hillside. Wine flights, wine by the bottle, and a snack picnic box will all be available.

HOURS/LOCATION: You can enjoy wine on the hillside on Sunday from 12-5 pm. This event is at our 21 N 2551st Rd., Peru, IL vineyard & winery location (not at our Tasting Room in Utica).

MUSIC: Stuart Smith, 1-4 pm

SIGN UP FOR A CAVE TASTING: We offer Cave Tastings hourly throughout the day.
