The Joliet City Center Partnership (CCP) is excited to host the 2nd Stone & Steel Spooky 5K on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at 8 a.m. This chip-timed race starts at the historical Rialto Square Theatre and runs through the Joliet Iron Works Historic Site. Walkers and runners are welcome to participate. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume. A t-shirt is included in the race fee, but sizes may not be guaranteed if registering after September 12th. Registration will remain open the morning of the race.

Awards will be presented to the male and female with the best overall time and by age group (0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 +). 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Female and Male will receive special awards.

Half of the proceeds will be donated to Joliet Central High School's chapter of the National Honor Society which recognizes students who excel in the four pillars of NHS: leadership, scholarship, service, and character. All NHS students have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Selected members participate in a variety of service projects and leadership events.
