Begin with the opening reception for Roadside Attractions: Art and History on Route 66 from 67 p.m. in the third-floor Founders Gallery. Then head to the second-floor Banquet Room for Stay on Route 66, a special Think & Drink program from 78 p.m. Ron Romero, founder and CEO of the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66, joins musician and entertainer Skip Griparis to explore the connections between the Mother Road and music through stories and live performance.
