Ottawa's Music In The Park Series Begins

Embrace Ottawa’s small-town charm, while enjoying live performances and the fresh outdoors for their new music series at the historic Washington Square Park. This summer you can pull up a chair, hangout with some friends and listen to an array of musical acts

The series begins this Saturday, June 26, and will go through the rest of the season until the end of August. The concerts will run from 6-8pm on Saturdays and are free!

Here is a list of all nine acts and the dates, so that you can plan accordingly:

 

June 26

It Takes Two – harmonizing popular hits from the ‘50s to modern Top 40s, from dance hits to love ballads.

July 10 

Radium City Rebels – Homage to Elvis, Buddy, Roy and other 50s icons of early rock and rockabilly.

The Silhouettes – bringing memories back from all the original artist from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s rock music.

July 31

Bopology – One of Chicago’s powerhouse swing bands. Bringing the Ray Pack and Sinatra era back to life.

Wild Daisy – Bringing an upbeat country flare to the stage with a few pop/rock songs added into the mix.

Rosie & the Rivets – Retro from head to toe, delivering danceable music from the 50s and 60s.

Ray’s Rockets – Delivering hits ranging from the B-52s to the Beatles.

Mary & the Troublemakers – A powerful lead vocalist backed by a keyboard, percussion and guitar, all sprinkled with a healthy dose of humor.
