Heritage Corridor Festivals Celebrates Local Tourism Champions with Two Hospitality Happy Hours in July

Heritage Corridor Festivals 501(c)(3) proudly hosted two Hospitality Happy Hours throughout July, recognizing exceptional local businesses that play a vital role in driving tourism and creating memorable experiences for visitors in the Heritage Corridor region.

Hospitality Happy Hours are designed to celebrate the hardworking staff at partner businesses who inspire and influence the visitor experience across the Heritage Corridor region. This month, Heritage Corridor Festivals recognized two outstanding partners: The Wildflower Boutique Retreat and Internode Greenery and Home.

The Wildflower Boutique Retreat, located just outside of Princeton, Illinois, offers a one-of-a-kind glamping experience with four A-frame cabins that blend rustic charm with modern comforts. Nestled among wildflower fields, old-growth forests, and 25 acres of serene wetlands, The Wildflower is a peaceful escape for nature lovers seeking a unique outdoor retreat.

Internode Greenery and Home, located at 81 N. Chicago Street in Joliet, Illinois, is on a mission to make the world a greener place — one plant at a time. Their beautifully curated space is a lush, welcoming oasis filled with greenery and home goods that reflect personality, warmth, and sustainability.

“It is an honor to recognize these impactful businesses throughout our region,” said Robert Navarro, President and CEO of Heritage Corridor Destinations. “Their contributions to tourism significantly strengthen our local economy and enrich the overall visitor experience.”
